Role Overview
The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and leading a results-oriented sales team. This role requires a strong leader with deep market insight, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business objectives
· Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
· Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
· Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
· Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance tracking systems
· Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to optimize sales performance
· Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to leadership
Requirements
· Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree is an added advantage)
· Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role
· Strong background in sales strategy, business development, and team management
· Experience in energy, FMCG, telecom, or related industries is an added advantage
· Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
· Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
