To provide senior-level strategic leadership through the effective interpretation and application of advanced legal and policy frameworks. The role requires a high calibre professional capable of operating at an executive level, maintaining a strong organisational profile, and identifying business opportunities. What the role will entail
Developing departmental strategy and annual workplans.
Developing a compliance programme to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents
Formulating and assessing policies to align with legal requirements and supporting strategic objectives for Knight Frank.
Developing and implementing the company’s compliance policies, procedures, and training programmes.
Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring that Knight Frank is responsive to changes.
Conducting periodic compliance audits and reporting findings to senior management and the Board.
Participating in the development of the company Strategic plan.
Identifying and meaningfully engage current and high potential new clients and contacts.
Sourcing new leads and ensuring all client enquiries are responded to quickly by the Commercial Agency team.
Obtaining instructions within guidelines to achieve agreed business targets.
Researching accurately and presenting this information in writing to a highly professional standard.
Managing consultation and transaction processes.
Managing key clients.
Maintaining records to Knight Frank standards.
Recruiting of relevant resources based on sound business cases.
Managing of staff performance within Commercial Agency teams.
Carrying out Appraisals and career development of all members of Commercial Agency teams.
Ensuring the Department fully understand office records and procedures and make good use of all available information contained therein.
Identifying training needs to help seal the performance inadequacies
Creating and following a business plan to grow the Occupier Service and Capital Markets business.
Abiding by the principle of Continuing Professional Development as required by the RICS.
Managing weekly departmental meetings.
Overseeing advertising and PR plans and activities for Working closely with the Head of Marketing.
Developing and maintaining capability and pitching material to Knight Frank Global brand standards.
Working closely with the Marketing team on producing thought leadership pieces such as property articles and liaising with journalists where appropriate.
Taking a close interest in the property and national press to enhance the prospective of the property market and related activities.
Liaising with Heads of other departments and get to know their markets both for the purpose of obtaining information in support of valuations and also to keeping an eye on cross selling of the business
Preparing and reviewing departmental budget.
Billing clients and pursuing debtors.

Experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field. Fully registered with the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents (ZIEA)
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). International market experience will be an added advantage.
Progressive 8 years relevant working experience.
