Havillah Gardens is hiring Garden Center Managers.

Position: Garden Center Manager (2 Positions)

Duties Include
– Overseeing daily operations.
– Managing staff.
– Applying basic knowledge about agriculture.
– Handling finances.
– Ensuring the health and care of plants.
– Customer service.
– Inventory control.
– Marketing and sales.
– Creating a positive retail environment.
– Managing social media platforms.
– Maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Staff and Operations Management
– Supervise, manage, train, and recruit garden center personnel.
– Oversee daily operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
– Keep track of stock, place orders for new products, and ensure a smooth flow of goods.
– Manage the budget, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues to meet sales targets.
– Ensure health and safety regulations are followed throughout the center.

Plant and Facility Maintenance
– Manage watering, pruning, and fertilizing of plants and treat pests or diseases.
– Oversee maintenance of buildings, greenhouses, and grounds, including the sprinkler system.
– Develop and implement product display and layout strategies.

Customer and Sales Management
– Ensure high standards of customer service and handle complaints or inquiries.
– Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional events, and monitor market trends.
– Work with suppliers to source quality products and negotiate terms.
