We are recruiting!

Our client in Lusaka, is looking for a Graduate Trainee – Claims and Motor Assessor to join their team for a job vacancy within the insurance industry.

GRADUATE TRAINEE – CLAIMS & MOTOR ASSESSOR

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of a Graduate Trainee – Claims & Motor Assessor which has arisen in our client’s organisation. The incumbent will be based in Lusaka and will report directly to the Operations Manager. The suitable candidate will perform the following duties, among others:

Claims

Registering of new claims.
Appointing assessors and follow up on assessment reports.
Issuing authorization letters/cash in lieu forms.
Processing payments.
Third Party, salvage & reinsurance recoveries.
Processing month end reports and attending to client’s queries.
Carry out motor claim inspections.
Issue CIL and repair authorizations
Produce motor assessment reports.
Carry out motor valuations.
Carry out Fraud investigation and provide a report.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

5 “Grade 12” passes including English Language and Mathematics.
Diploma in Panel Beating and Spray Painting or Diploma in Insurance.
2 Years relevant experience in either motor vehicle Panel Beating or Spray Painting.
Insurance experience is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Very knowledgeable with computers particularly Excel/Word.
Valid driving Licence is a must.
