Are you a recent graduate ready to build a career in Occupational Health & Safety within a world-class mining environment?

First Quantum Minerals is looking for a Graduate Safety professional to join their team in Kalumbila and support the implementation of health and safety programs aimed at reducing workplace injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Conduct safety audits in line with departmental procedures and compliance standards
• Support delivery of health and safety training programs as scheduled
• Maintain accurate records (inspection reports, training, and medical surveillance)
• Liaise with external service providers on OHS matters
• Compile safety statistics and reports in compliance with legislation
• Attend safety and operational meetings as required

Qualifications & Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an OHS-related role
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to analyse data and produce clear reports
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid Driver’s License (Class C1)
• Willingness to work shifts
