JOB PURPOSE
To undertake the processing, maintenance and storage of geomatic information in order to facilitate the physical planning of the rural electrification projects.

Responsibility:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
Surveys and Data Capture – Undertakes effectively the development and monitoring of standards and methodology for the capturing of geomatic data in order to facilitate standardisation and smooth processing.
Geomatic Data – Undertakes effectively the processing, maintenance and storage of geomatic data in order to facilitate the production of spatial diagrams and maps.
Aerial Photographs and Satellite Imagery – Undertakes effectively the acquisition and processing of aerial photographs and satellite imagery in order to facilitate the production of spatial diagrams and maps.
Spatial Diagrams and Maps – Undertakes effectively the development and monitoring of standards for the production of spatial diagrams and maps to facilitate the planning of the rural electrification projects.
Beacons – Undertakes effectively the establishment of a network of beacons and other markers in order to facilitate the demarcation of land related to rural electrification projects.
Quality Management System – Undertakes effectively the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems in order to ensure compliance to set standards.
Risk Management – Undertakes effectively the preparation and updating of the environmental and social risk register in order to ensure effective management of risk.
