Job description

Trade Zone Limited is currently looking to hire an experienced Geologist to be based in Lusaka.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct geological mapping, Sampling and core logging
  • Interpret technical reports and resource estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental standards.
  • To survey, map, sample and record geological data on plans and the company GIS system.
  • Planning and execution of QA/QC protocols.
  • Interpret geochemical and geophysical data to identify ore targets.

 

Requirements and skills

  • Grade 12 with five (5) “O” Levels.
  • Degree in Geology or related field.
  • Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
  • Analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • 2 years and above working experience as a Geologist.
  • Geology knowledge, modelling and problem solving.
