EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – GENERAL WORKERS
Trade Kings Limited is a leading manufacturer of quality detergent soaps, household products, dairy products, and confectionery. Our sister company, Trade Kings Homecare, located in the Multi-Facility Economic Zone (MFEZ), is seeking to recruit physically fit General Workers to join our team.
Position: General Workers (500)
Location: MFEZ, Lusaka
Job Purpose
To provide general support services by performing basic manual tasks that ensure smooth operations in the company’s production, warehouse, and/or facility environment. The General Worker contributes to efficiency, cleanliness, and safety across assigned work areas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual labor tasks including loading, offloading, lifting, carrying, packing, and moving goods or materials.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, and ensuring hygienic conditions.
Assist in production processes by supplying materials, moving items, and following instructions from supervisors.
Operate basic tools and equipment safely (e.g., hand tools,cleaning machines).
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, and maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
Support skilled workers (e.g., fitters, electricians, machine operators) by carrying out simple tasks as directed.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
