Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an experienced and certified Freelance Refrigeration Technician to provide on-demand refrigeration maintenance, installation, and repair services for our commercial and industrial clients. This is a flexible, project-based role ideal for skilled professionals seeking competitive, high-quality work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Refrigeration Maintenance & Repairs – Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration units and cold rooms on-site.
Installation & Testing – Install and test refrigeration and electrical components to ensure functionality.
Fault Diagnosis & Re-Gassing – Troubleshoot electrical wiring problems and perform re-gassing when necessary.
Commercial Refrigeration Repairs – Identify and fix faults in commercial refrigeration units.
Routine Servicing – Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and testing of refrigeration equipment.
Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure proper disposal of hazardous substances and adherence to HSE regulations.
Detailed Reporting – Provide job cards, feedback, and photographic evidence for completed tasks.
Other Equipment Support – As required, assist with repairs and maintenance of catering, laundry, or hospitality equipment.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in refrigeration installation, maintenance, and repairs.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and commercial refrigeration systems.
Certifications (Mandatory): Must hold relevant refrigeration and electrical maintenance certifications.
Own Tools (Essential): Must have a complete set of tools required for refrigeration repairs and maintenance.
Professionalism: Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Availability: Flexible scheduling to take on projects as needed.
