FOREX TELLER – FDH MONEY BUREAU LIMITED
Job Identification

Location: TBA (Zambia Bureau – Front Desk)

Reports To: Team Leader, Money Bureau

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Money Bureau or bank operations

Education: Diploma in Business Administration, Banking, or related fieldZambia job marketJob search platform

Possible Location: Ndola, Lusaka, or Livingstone

Job Purpose

To process customer foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent service, ensuring compliance with policies, minimizing risk, and meeting regulatory reporting requirements in order to facilitate secure, compliant, and customer-focused currency exchange operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service

Serve customers professionally.

Issue correct receipts and post transactions accurately.

Goal: High customer satisfaction, zero receipt errors.

2. Compliance & Cash Control

Follow transaction limits.

Balance cash daily and report discrepancies.

Goal: 100% compliance, balanced books, full documentation.

3. Reporting

Assist in preparing and submitting daily/weekly reports to Risk & Compliance and Bank of Zambia.

Goal: Timely, accurate, and registered submissions.

4. Security & Asset Management

Act as custodian of safe/main door keys; maintain key register.

Monitor security equipment and report faults.

Assist in cash reconciliation and spot checks.

Goal: Zero cash variances, updated logs, prompt incident reporting.

Minor spending via petty cash (with limits).

Custodian of confidential customer data – ensure security and privacy at all times.
