Finishes Foreman

Job description

We are urgently looking for a Project Finishes Foreman with an architectural background to manage interior and exterior finishing work, coordinate tradespeople, and ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Design and Planning: Should be able to develop building concepts and detailed plans.

Create architectural drawings, 3D models, and specifications using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM to communicate designs clearly to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Construction Oversight: Should conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design plans, approve materials, and make necessary modifications to address site conditions or client requests.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards, preparing permit applications and securing approvals before installation begins.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong design and visualization skills 

Proficiency in technical drawing and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, engineers, and the construction team.

Attention to detail, creativity, foresight, and leadership to ensure high-quality

outcomes.

Qualifications

• A professional qualified Draughtsman / Architectural Technician
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
• 5 years’ site experience as a Finishing Foreman
• Must be a specialised Finishing Foreman, i.e aluminium, joinery, and carpentry
• At least 3 traceable references.
• Fluent in English and good mathematical skills.
