Job description

Job Title: Finance Officer

Job Location: Chalala, Shantumbu Road, Lusaka, Zambia

Job Description:

Codirect Courier and Fulfillment Center is looking for a competent and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Prepare financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of Grade A in Mathematics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field with a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
