Finance Intern

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern to join our finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and is eager to gain practical experience in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

· Support month-end and year-end closing processes

· Perform financial analysis and variance analysis

· Reconcile accounts and assist with bookkeeping tasks

· Help prepare financial presentations for management

· Analyze financial data and identify trends

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

· Support internal audits and compliance reviews

· Maintain financial records and documentation

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial formulas preferred)

· Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Requirements:

· Student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, or related field

· Prior internship or part-time experience in finance or accounting

· Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

· Knowledge of financial modeling

· Willingness to learn and work in a team
