Job Title: Finance Intern x 2 (Lusaka)
Report To: Management Accountant
Background
The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) is a statutory body established under the Energy Regulation Act to regulate the energy sector by licensing undertakings and ensuring consumers receive a quality service at an affordable price while ensuring a reasonable rate of return to the energy utilities.
The ERB now seeks to offer Internship opportunity in Finance Department to suitably qualified persons to fill the positions of Finance Intern.
Job Purpose
To provide support to the Finance department and gain practical work experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Tracking revenue Returns and payments
Processing receipts
Ensuring data consistency in all data sets
Processing imprest retirements
Digitizing financial records for compliance and efficiency
Any other duties as may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
A minimum of a degree in Accounts or equivalent
Applicants must have graduated not earlier than 1st January 2022.
