Harvest Industries Zambia Limited is an FMCG  seeking for  experience Fiance Assistants at our branch at WILMAR INDUSTRIAL AREA  along Nakambala road-NDOLA

Job Title: Finance Assistant x 2
Department: Finance Reports to: Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for managing cashier operations, initiating supplier payments, maintaining relationships with banks, performing bank reconciliations, and handling petty cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bank Relationship Management:

o Maintain effective communication and relationships with banking partners.

o Handle bank-related documentation and transactions.

o Assist in resolving banking issues and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

2. Payments & Reimbursements:

o Initiate and process supplier payments in a timely manner.

o Assist in verifying and approving company reimbursements.

3. Petty Cash Management:

o Maintain and monitor petty cash transactions.

o Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of petty cash expenses.

4. Bank Reconciliations:

o Prepare and complete bank reconciliations regularly.

o Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.

5. Inventory Support:

o Assist in the monthly warehouse inventory reconciliation process.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Minimum of 1  to 2 years of experience in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of financial transactions, reconciliations, and petty cash handling.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
