Undikumbukire Project Zambia invites motivated and detail-oriented candidates to join our team as a Finance & Admin Intern based at our Lusaka office. This internship offers an excellent platform to develop practical skills in a dynamic organizational environment. About the Role: Finance Admin Internship Jobs in Lusaka Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Finance & Admin Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the daily financial and administrative activities of our organization. You will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and assisting with administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Finance Duties: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Support reconciliation of staff floats, bank statements, and other financial accounts. Prepare supporting documentation for payments and assist with payment processing. Manage petty cash planning and disbursements with proper documentation and adherence to policies. Collect quotations and assist in raising payments. Support compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations. Assist in managing participant payments for workshops and meetings. Administrative Duties: Maintain an up-to-date supplier and consumables contact list. Organize and maintain an efficient filing system. Support asset management activities. Candidate Requirements A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping. Strong attention to detail with a focus on numerical accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Professional attitude and a strong desire to gain practical experience.
