About the Field Sales Executive Role

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in driving profitable revenue growth by engaging with new and existing customers through face-to-face and telephone sales. You will focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with both ad-hoc and corporate clients, ensuring tailored logistics solutions that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities for Field Sales Executive Jobs in Lusaka

  • Market Engagement & Sales Development:
    • Conduct face-to-face visits and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.
    • Identify and generate new business opportunities to consistently achieve assigned revenue targets.
    • Monitor local market trends and report on factors influencing customer activity.
    • Gather and share competitor intelligence, including tariffs, brochures, and promotions, to support strategic decision-making.
    • Provide timely market and competitor insights to the Sales Manager.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships to maximize retention rates.
    • Offer customized logistics and express distribution solutions aligned with customer requirements.
    • Maintain a professional and consultative sales approach throughout the customer engagement cycle.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Education: Minimum Grade 12 Certificate plus a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration. A degree is an advantage.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven face-to-face sales experience, preferably within courier or express logistics industries.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of sales processes, relationship building, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
    • High computer literacy and familiarity with relevant technology.
    • Good understanding of express and freight logistics.
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is essential.
