Job description
Farm Manager
A farm in Kabwe is seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee both livestock and irrigation farming operations.
Location: Kabwe, Zambia
Key Responsibilities
- Management of cattle and other livestock enterprises.
- Planning and supervision of irrigation crop production.
- Staff management and training.
- Farm budgeting, record keeping, and reporting.
- Equipment, infrastructure, and resource management.
- Implementation of good agricultural practices and animal health programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing livestock operations.
- Experience with irrigation farming systems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage farm staff and daily operations independently.
- Knowledge of farm budgeting, record keeping, and production planning.
- Relevant agricultural qualifications will be an added advantage.
