Business Plan Writers – Agriculture, Agro-Processing & Solar Energy Sectors

A Zambian locally owned private Limited company, operating in Zambia since 2002, is seeking to diversify its business portfolio into the agriculture, agro-processing, and solar energy generation sectors. As part of this strategic expansion, the company invites expressions of interest from qualified firms or individuals to develop professional, investor-ready business plans aimed at attracting investment funding and strategic partnerships.

Scope of Work:
Develop comprehensive, professional business plans tailored for investor and funding engagement.
Ensure alignment with Zambia’s market environment, investment opportunities, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:
Proven experience in developing successful business proposals in Zambia.
Strong knowledge of the agriculture, agro-processing, and/or solar energy sectors.
Submission of a detailed budget for the assignment.
Knowledge of working on ZDA guidelines on facilitation and registration of Investments in Zambia is must.

Additional requirements for Key personnel
Master’s degree (Business, Economics, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, or related field)
Proven leadership in similar assignments in Zambia
Sector Specialists (Agriculture, Agro-Processing, Solar Energy)
Degree in relevant field
At least 5 years of sector-specific experience
In-depth knowledge of value chains and local industry dynamics
Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment forecasting
Experience in preparing documents for investors or donors
Familiarity with ZDA processes and compliance requirements is a must.
