Wild Dogs Nature Safaris, a Safari lodge and tour operator in Lusaka, is looking for a skilled and creative Chef to join our team. This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional with experience managing a small kitchen and preparing high-quality meals for guests.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.
Plan menus with creativity, incorporating fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Manage kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Accommodate special dietary requests and guest preferences.
Collaborate with management to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen.
Experience in the tourism industry is an added advantage.
Must be flexible and willing to adapt to different schedules and guest needs.
Must be available for a cook-off test as part of the interview process.
