Electronic Electrical Mechanic

Job description

Espeka Zambia Limited is urgently looking for an Electronic Electrical Mechanic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, machinery, and control systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults using appropriate test instruments.

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems.

Inspect electrical wiring, motors, control panels, circuit boards, sensors, and electronic components to identify defects.

Replace or repair defective components, wiring, switches, relays, motors, circuit boards, and control devices.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.

Test, calibrate, and commission electrical and electronic equipment after installation or repair.

Install and maintain motors, variable speed drives (VSDs), PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, and automation systems where applicable.

Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company maintenance procedures.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

Maintain tools, testing equipment, and spare parts inventory in good working condition.

Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, production staff, and contractors to achieve maintenance objectives.

Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years practical experience

preferably Lusaka residents

Must be ready to start immediately
