Location: Lusaka

Good Time Steel Company Zambia Limited, a leading manufacturing company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Electrical Technologist.

Job Purpose:

To ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to support continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Support production teams to minimize downtime
Assist in upgrading and improving electrical systems

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) will be an added advantage
