Job description

Technoseries, a Zambian ICT serving company delivering IT Services and Creative Multimedia productions located in Ndola two (2) Editor/Videographers to be based in Ndola.

Mission of the role

To deliver high-quality visual, and multimedia content that is accurate, creative, and consistent, enhancing storytelling and communication impact across all projects. You will shape scripts, videos and digital content into engaging narratives that captivate audiences and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Content Review & Editing

·      Review scripts, articles, advertisements, and digital content for grammar, style, clarity, and coherence.

·      Edit and refine content to improve flow, readability, and messaging.

·      Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and editorial standards.

·      Fact-check and verify information, references, and statistics.

2.    Videography & Production

·      Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, corporate communications, and client projects.

·      Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture professional visuals.

·      Direct on-camera talent and manage production logistics during shoots.

·      Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project briefs.

·      Edit and post-produce video content, including color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics.

·      Maintain organized digital media libraries and manage raw footage efficiently.

3.    Script-Writing Support & Collaboration

·      Collaborate with scriptwriters, copywriters, and creative teams to develop compelling storytelling for multimedia campaigns.

·      Provide editorial and production feedback on scripts to ensure clarity and engagement.

·      Adapt content for different platforms, including video, web, social media, and broadcast.

4.    Quality Assurance & Consistency

·      Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, visual style, and formatting across all content.

·      Ensure all materials meet technical production requirements.

·      Conduct final proofing and review before publication or client delivery.

·      Identify and escalate content or production risks when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

·      Advanced Certificate or Diploma, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Film, or related field.

·      Minimum of 2 years’ experience in editorial, videography, or multimedia production roles.

Key Competencies

·      Excellent communication skills; strong proofreading and editing skills.

·      Skilled in video production: shooting, lighting, audio recording, and post-production.

·      Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphics tools.

·      Familiarity with style guides, brand guidelines, and multimedia workflows.

·      Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·      Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

·      Adaptable to diverse media formats, platforms, and production requirements.

·      Creative mindset with commitment to high-quality output and brand consistency.
