Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport workers, supervisors, and visitors to various dewatering sites and mining locations.
• Deliver and collect equipment, tools, and materials required for dewatering operations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights) and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Assist with basic loading and offloading of equipment and supplies.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Support site teams with minor logistical tasks when required.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adapt to changing schedules or site demands.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for assigned vehicle).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in mining or industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of local routes and mining site access roads.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid silicosis certificate
