Driver Instructor

J&J Transport Zambia Limited is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Driver Instructor who will be responsible for  driver instruction, safety and implementation of company fleet standards.

Duties

Instruct, supervise and monitor drivers.
Driver recruitment – screening, assessments and driver orientation.
Regular driver evaluation and feedback on performance.
Instruct drivers on traffic safety regulations, loading and unloading procedures, and proper care of equipment.
Carry out truck inspections and follow up on required actions.
Assist with accident investigations.

Requirements

15 years cross border truck driving.
5 years experience as a truck driver instructor.
Fluent in English and other local languages.
Certification in driver training from a recognized institution.
Valid PSV licence – class DG
