About the Driver Role

Reporting directly to the Administrative Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in safely transporting company staff and goods while maintaining the operational condition of company vehicles. The position requires prompt availability to start as soon as possible and offers a dynamic work environment within the transport and logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities for Driver Jobs in Luanshya

• Safely transport company personnel and cargo to designated locations.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and conduct minor servicing when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage and vehicle repairs.
• Identify and promptly report any mechanical issues to management.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, road tax, and fitness certificates, are current and valid.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle problems immediately to the management team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full Grade 12 school certificate.
• Valid Zambian driver’s license, minimum Class C.
• At least five years’ experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of road safety rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated honesty, maturity, and sobriety, with a willingness to assume additional responsibilities.

Additional advantage:

• Knowledge of car mechanics or certification in vehicle maintenance.
