The Key Purpose of this role is to control distribution operations in order to satisfy customer service needs while optimizing the utilization of company assets and the department’s performance in order to meet standards and remain competitive
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Load planning and truck allocation
Order execution tracking and escalation
Expected volume forecast
KPIs and PIs update, review and problem solving
Manage time and attendance for own driver
VPO/DPO implementation
Daily reports compilation
Safety monitoring update and recording
Shop floor engagement
Compliance to SCL(supervisor checklists)
Daily driver debriefing
Invoice confirmed orders
Supply chain transfer planning and execution
Customer engagement
3PL contractors management
Refusals Modulation
Route induction for driver’s daily review of PIs for direct reports
Adherence to POC/route visits plan
Conduct OWDs & audits
Driver one on one (performance review)
Customer and driver master data update
Control Distribution Performance
Control delivery schedules
Assure product quality
Analyze and respond to distribution performance measures
Leverage customer relationships
Monitor fleet availability
Support Sales function
Performance Administration
Apply administration systems and procedures
Leverage information systems
Minimum Requirements:
Min – Diploma in Supply/Logistics/Accounting/Business Administration or in a related field
2 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain function
IBIS (Flow Centric & Syspro) knowledge required
Fleet management and control HUB knowledge required
MS Office knowledge
