The key purpose of this role is to execute beer sales deliveries to customers based on scheduled and ad hoc orders, as well as facilitate transfers between ZBDC plants, while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Product Deliveries:

Ensure timely delivery of products as per planned orders, route schedules, or ad hoc instructions.
Deliver beer and related products accurately to designated customers and inter-plant locations.

Asset Care / Autonomous Maintenance:

Maintain the truck in a clean and roadworthy condition at all times.
Complete pre-trip inspections using the provided checklist before each trip and report any vehicle defects promptly.
Responsible for safely hooking and off hooking the trailer from the horse.
Ensure care and accountability for tools such as the DJ phone and printer assigned to the vehicle.

Problem Escalation:

Promptly escalate any operational issues beyond the driver’s control to the Distribution Supervisor for resolution.

Customer Service:

Communicate key updates regarding product availability or company operations to customers during deliveries.
Record and report customer complaints, concerns, or suggestions to the appropriate supervisor.
Clearly advise customers on payment processes related to product deliveries.

Administration:

Accurately record vehicle movement, fuel, and lubricant usage.
Adhere to scheduled preventative maintenance routines.
Report and document any defects or issues using the vehicle inspection sheets.

Minimum Requirements:

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Valid CE Driver’s License
Valid Defensive Driving Certificate (issued by Belsam)
