Dissolved Acetylene Plant Operator

Job description

What you will enjoy doing

 Your responsibility includes ensuring correct quantities and quality of
Dissolved Acetylene is produced in time and in a safe and sustainable manner to meet market demands
 In this role you will be required to maintain accurately the hourly
production records for proper plant optimization
Also to report accurately any unusual plant conditions that may lead to
interruption in Dissolved Acetylene production
Furthermore, you will ensure all empty Dissolved Acetylene cylinders are
filled, and records well maintained that is. Cylinder serial number, purity,
tamper proof seal number, filling pressure and date
Carrying out planned maintenance on equipment during shutdown
And you will be required to report all unsafe acts and conditions to line
management

What makes you great

You possess a Grade 12 School Certificate and a Trade Test in Process Control or Technician Certificate or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
Further, you must be computer literate and able to prepare a production
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
And a good command in English language (oral and written)
