Role Overview for Direct Sales Agent Jobs in Lusaka

We are looking for skilled loan sales professionals who can effectively originate payroll and salary-backed loans within government institutions and formal employers across Zambia. This role demands a strong performance orientation, with candidates expected to manage payroll lending cycles, facilitate employer onboarding, and nurture institutional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire payroll and salary-backed loan customers within the government and formal sectors
• Conduct institutional activations and regular employer visits to promote loan products
• Achieve and exceed monthly loan disbursement targets
• Support the onboarding process, including customer verification and KYC compliance
• Maintain strong customer retention through effective relationship management and referral pipelines

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in microfinance, payroll lending, banking sales, or loan origination
• Established relationships with government institutions, schools, hospitals, or formal employers are highly advantageous
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding monthly loan disbursement targets
• Strong knowledge of payroll-based credit assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in customer onboarding and KYC processes
