CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERN WANTED

Position: Customer Service Intern

Abaleya Carpooling Limited is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Intern to support daily operations. The successful candidate will assist users, drivers, and partners by providing timely support, handling inquiries, and helping maintain a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, social media, and in-app support channels.
- Assist users with app registration and general platform guidance.
- Record customer complaints, feedback, and service issues accurately.
- Follow up on unresolved customer matters and escalate where necessary.
- Support driver and passenger onboarding activities.
- Maintain professional communication with customers at all times.
- Prepare simple daily or weekly customer service reports.
- Support field activations and customer engagement activities when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have a Grade 12 Certificate.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use smartphones confidently.
- Familiarity with social media, WhatsApp, email, and mobile apps.
- Ability to speak English and at least one local language.
- Patient, professional, respectful, and solution-oriented.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-growing startup environment.
- Must be based in Lusaka.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be energetic, polite, organized, tech-friendly, and passionate about helping people. They should be comfortable speaking to customers, solving basic problems, and representing the Abaleya brand professionally.
