Summary of Key Responsibilities:Legal Advice Zambia
Advise clients on corporate and commercial law matters under Zambian law.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Handle company incorporations, secretarial services, and corporate governance matters.
Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring transactions.
Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
Ensure regulatory compliance with PACRA, ZRA, BOZ, and other relevant authorities.
Provide legal opinions and risk assessments to clients and partners.
Liaise with regulators, government institutions, and external counsel as required.
Keep abreast of developments in Zambian corporate and commercial law.
Support business development initiatives and client relationship management.
Required Skills and Competencies
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Sound knowledge of Zambian corporate and commercial law.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
Minimum of 3 years’ post-bar qualification experience in corporate/commercial law.
Admitted to the Bar in Zambia and holding a valid Practicing Certificate.
