Sabot Zambia Limited is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the below stated position on a “One-year fixed Contract”:
1. Construction Supervisor – (1)
Main Responsibilities
Oversee all civil engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
Interpret and work from project’s construction drawings, technical specifications and ensure accurate works execution
Monitor project progress and timelines, managing resources and prompt addressing of operational challenges
Supervise all site activities including excavation, foundations, structural works and finishing
Conduct inspections, quality tests and make professional recommendations
Maintain site records including daily reports and inspection checklists
Provide regular progress reports to management
Perform any other duties assigned by superiors
Qualifications/Requirements
Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering, plus a qualification in power electrical engineering
5 years minimum experience in construction or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of structural civil works, including concrete and steel structures
Conversant with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office
Excellent appreciation of structural design principles and calculations
Registered with NCC and/or Engineering Institute of Zambia
