Job description
Job Type: Initially part-time (to December 2025); then full-time (from January 2026).
About Us: SEC / PIA-regulated capital markets player in early-stage growth phase.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced accountant to manage our financial transactions, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
– Manage day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
– Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
– Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
– Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
– Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as needed.
– Ensure timely submission of tax returns and regulatory filings.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Must be a certified Member of ZICA
– Knowledge of Zambian tax laws and statutory requirements.
– Proficiency in accounting software, preferably SAGE.
– Excellent analytical, organizational, Communication, and leadership skills.
– High level of integrity and attention to detail.
