Job description

Luangwa Child Development Agency (LCDA) is a duly registered Non- Governmental Organization operating in Luangwa districts of Lusaka province and Nyimba District of Eastern province of Zambia.  LCDA has been in operation since 2009. The organization seek to provide support to the deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and youth  with a focus on: health; education; child protection; livelihood; advocacy; and gender.

LCDA is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the underlisted vacant positions:

1. Communication Intern (1  Position) Luangwa

Responsibilities:

Assist with content creation for social media, website, and marketing materials
Write engaging articles, blog posts, and newsletters
Help manage social media accounts and develop content calendars
Collaborate with program staff to capture stories and photos of our work
Assist with video production and editing

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a degree program (Communications, Journalism, or related field)
Strong writing, photography, and social media skills
Passion for storytelling and social impact
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
