Job description:

Purpose

To assist the Officer, Contracts and Specialist, Contracts in processing all Kansanshi Mining PLC service requests. The Clerk, Contracts will act in a support role to the Contracts Officer with the goal of becoming a Contracts Officer.

Key Responsibilities

This position will require to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures, and legal regulations about health, safety, environment, and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.

Respond to supplier and end-user inquiries regarding service requests
Assisting in the floating of tenders
In charge of distribution of signed contracts
Maintaining physical and electronic contract archives and contract register
Liaison person between the Contracts section and Finance department
Liaison person of the supplier contract meetings
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time while upholding an extremely high level of work quality
Efficient time management will be key
Ensuring contractors are compliant with statutory requirements
Perform any other task as directed by the immediate Supervisor

Qualifications

Full Grade 12 certificate
Diploma in Procurement
CIPS Qualification
Member of ZIPS

Experience

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar industry/environment, covering the areas of:
Procurement
Contracts
Record keeping
