As the Civil and Earthworks Supervisor, you will oversee all civil and earthworks operations on site, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating resources, managing construction crews, and maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil and earthworks activities to ensure project specifications and drawings are strictly followed.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project goals efficiently.
• Monitor daily construction progress, productivity, and quality control measures.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Manage and motivate construction teams and contractors to achieve scheduled milestones.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges promptly to minimize delays and rework.
• Promote and uphold a safety culture focused on achieving Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTIs).

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
• At least seven (7) years of proven experience in civil construction supervision.
• Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) and registration with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB).
• Demonstrated expertise in bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage systems, and concrete works.
• Experience supervising contractors and construction crews on mining, industrial, or large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings accurately.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in preparing timely and accurate construction progress reports.
