Position Overview: Chinese Food Chef Jobs in Ndola

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes such as stir-fries, soups, and staple foods tailored to employee preferences.
• Operate essential Chinese kitchen equipment including woks and steamers efficiently and safely.
• Manage kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with local food safety regulations.
• Coordinate food procurement and control ingredient usage to minimize waste.
• Occasionally update the menu or introduce special dishes for company events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of three years’ cooking experience in any cuisine, with preference for those familiar with Chinese cooking techniques.
• Valid health certificate issued in Zambia (mandatory).
• Proficient in basic food preparation, seasoning, and maintaining consistent taste and hygiene standards.
• Strong sense of responsibility and adherence to food safety protocols.
• Ability to adapt to local working hours and environment, with no requirement for late-night shifts.
• Good communication skills and willingness to adjust recipes based on feedback.
