Role Purpose

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a growth-driven executive role responsible for aggressively expanding BGS’s revenue base, commercial partnerships, and market dominance. The COO will own strategy execution, revenue acceleration, market expansion, and high-value deal closure while positioning BGS as a preferred digital transformation partner for enterprise and institutional clients.

This role demands a hunter mindset, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to turn opportunity into signed contracts and sustained profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Growth Leadership

Drive the execution of BGS’s corporate strategy with clear revenue, margin, and market-share targets

Translate strategic priorities into commercially viable, scalable business lines

Revenue Growth & Deal Closure

Lead end-to-end business development across software, infrastructure, payments, and service solutions

Originate, structure, negotiate, and close high-value enterprise and government contracts

Build a strong, predictable sales pipeline and deliver consistent revenue growth

Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships

Identify and penetrate new markets and industry segments

Establish and monetize strategic alliances with technology vendors, financial institutions, and enterprise clients

Commercial Leadership & Governance

Lead and performance-manage strategy, sales, and business development teams

Provide commercial insight and execution support to the CEO and Board

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (required)

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) will be a strong added advantage

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategy, business development, consulting, or senior commercial leadership roles

Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, closing complex deals, and scaling technology-enabled businesses

Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to operate at executive and board level while remaining deal-focused
