About the Client Company:
Our Client Company is a leading organization in Manufacturing based in Lusaka, Zambia. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team.

Position Overview:
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the company. You will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in financial management and the ability to drive organizational success through sound financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Manage the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their capabilities and ensure high performance.
Collaborate with other departments to support their financial initiatives and drive overall profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g.,  ACCA/CIMA) is preferred. Must be a member of ZICA
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with significant experience.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Proven experience with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools; expertise in ERP systems is a plus.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across the organization.
