As a full-time female chef at Mungwi Park Gardens, you will play a vital role in crafting delicious local and international dishes with creativity and consistency. You will be responsible for maintaining exemplary food hygiene and safety standards while contributing to menu planning and kitchen management. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of Zambian and international dishes with creativity and consistency
• Uphold high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation
• Assist in developing and planning menus that reflect seasonal and local ingredients
• Efficiently manage kitchen operations, especially during peak service hours
• Oversee proper storage and inventory control of kitchen supplies
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent guest service

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ proven experience as a chef in a restaurant, lodge, or hospitality environment
• Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Zambian cuisine and international culinary techniques
• Ability to perform well under pressure and work flexible hours, including weekends
• Passion for food quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
