About the Chef Role – Chef Jobs in Woodlands Lusaka
As a Chef at Reeluka Investments Ltd, you will play a key role in the daily kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing dishes according to established menu specifications, upholding the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean and compliant with health regulations. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and coordinating orders to maintain smooth kitchen workflow. Supporting menu planning and proper maintenance of kitchen equipment will be essential aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals precisely according to menu guidelines
- Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, and presentation standards
- Ensure strict cleanliness and hygiene practices within the kitchen
- Monitor food stock levels and place timely orders to avoid shortages
- Adhere to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with menu planning and streamline kitchen operations
- Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure durability and safety
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum of one year proven experience working as a Chef or Cook
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well within a team
