Central Processing Officer

Job description

The Central Processing Officer is a member of the Banking Services Central Processing Unit and will be primarily tasked with Back Office and Loan Processing transactions. The position requires strong knowledge of the core banking system (Orbit R) software, analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail and capability to act independently. Communication and coordination with different units within FINCA Zambia, including the Central Processing team, Branches, Credit, Information Services and Finance, will be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Central Loan Processing: creation and Posting of loans in Orbit- R
Insurance: Preparing of claims and monthly Premiums
Data/File security
Maintaining customer records
Agent support and rebalancing
Posting GL and bank Transactions;
TD Placements for Institutional/Corporate and individual Clients;
Inter and intra Bank Transfers;
Loan Change transactions;
Quality Control Checks on KYC Reports;

 QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma/Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or any other relevant Business Related Diploma
Strong analytical skills and pays attention to detail.
