Position Overview: Central Control Operator Jobs in Lusaka
The Central Control Operator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the concrete batching plant. You will be responsible for monitoring production processes, coordinating truck schedules, and communicating effectively with plant personnel to maintain operational flow. This position requires a proactive individual capable of meeting production targets and supporting management with timely reporting and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control production processes within the batching plant to maintain quality and efficiency
- Coordinate the scheduling of trucks and production activities to optimize plant throughput
- Communicate regularly with drivers and plant staff to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure that production targets and operational standards are consistently achieved
- Assist management with operational reporting and coordination as required
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering
- Experience in concrete mixing plant operations or production scheduling is preferred
- Basic proficiency in Chinese language is an advantage
- Strong communication and coordination skills to effectively manage operations
- Residency in Lusaka is preferred, with familiarity of local road conditions and the operating environment
