Job description
Key Responsibilities:
installs, maintains, and repairs security systems, including access control devices, CCTV cameras, and related equipment, ensuring optimal security and functionality
Installation:
-Install various access control devices (e.g., card readers, door locks, panic alarms).
-Install CCTV cameras (both analog and IP).
-Install and program DVR recording units.
-Install cable pathways (cable trays, racks, etc.).
-Install, terminate, test, label, and document cables.
-Install conduit, core, or trench for cable routing.
-Mount panels, field devices, computers, and power supplies.
Maintenance and Repair:
-Troubleshoot and repair access control and CCTV systems.
-Perform regular maintenance on security systems.
-Ensure optimal system performance and functionality.
Programming and Configuration:
-Program access control panels and systems.
-Configure and set up CCTV systems.
-Program and maintain system servers and client computers.
Documentation:
-Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
-Document system installations and modifications.
Other Duties:
-Provide technical support and guidance to users.
-Communicate with customers throughout the project.
-Perform other duties as required.
