CALL FOR SUPPLIER REGISTRATION
Skills to Live Zambia (S2L Zambia)
1. Introduction
Skills to Live Zambia (S2L Zambia) is a locally registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Lilayi, Lusaka. Our mission is to empower vulnerable young people through technical, vocational, and life skills training, enhancing their employability, livelihoods, and income resilience.
In line with our commitment to operational excellence and transparency, S2L Zambia is inviting applications from eligible, experienced, and reputable suppliers to be included on our Approved Supplier Register. Registered suppliers will be engaged, as and when required, for a period of twelve (12) months.
This initiative is designed to build long-term partnerships with suppliers who demonstrate quality, reliability, and alignment with our safeguarding and disability inclusion policies.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for registration, suppliers must meet the following minimum requirements:
Be registered with the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) and hold valid PACRA and ZRA certification.
Hold a valid 2025 Tax Clearance Certificate.
Operate from a physical and traceable office in Zambia.
Demonstrate proven experience in the relevant line of business, with at least three (3) references.
Submit a company profile and CVs of qualified technical personnel (where applicable).
Provide evidence of compliance with safeguarding policies and a commitment to disability inclusion.
3. Categories of Supply & Services
Interested suppliers may apply to be considered for one or more of the following categories:
Suppliers are required to provide unit quotations for all listed items.
Category 1: Stationery & Office Supplies
Flip charts
Markers (permanent and whiteboard)
Toner cartridges (e.g., MF401)
Pens (ballpoint, gel, etc.)
Plain A4 paper
Envelopes (various sizes)
Notebooks
Other general stationery items
Category 2: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Safety boots
Work suits with 3-logo branding (embroidery)
Chef jackets with 3-logo branding (embroidery)
Medical scrubs with 3-logo branding (embroidery)
Protective gloves, masks, and other safety gear
Category 3: Foodstuffs & Kitchen Supplies
Fresh vegetables and fruits
Mealie meal, flour, rice, sugar, and cooking oil
Spices, stock cubes, and condiments
Beans, kapenta, chicken, beef, and fish
Dairy products (milk, cheese, eggs)
Kitchen consumables and cleaning supplies (detergents, dishwashing liquid, etc.)
Category 4: Hardware & Electrical Supplies
Metal sheets and angle bars
Copper cables, fittings, and electrical accessories
Solar panels, batteries, and related components
Electrical tools (screwdrivers, pliers, testers, drills, etc.)
Welding rods, grinding discs, and workshop consumables
Paints, brushes, and hardware supplies
Category 5: Video & Photography Services
Provision of professional photography services
Videography (minimum 3-minute sample video required)
Editing and production services
Submission of samples of previous work with quotations for similar outputs
Category 6: Branding & Printing Services
T-shirts with 2-logo embroidery (unit pricing required)
Logo design and development
Printing of promotional materials (banners, flyers, posters)
Provision of a catalogue of previous branding work
Category 7: Supply of Greening and Climate-Friendly Materials
Various types of trees and ornamental plants
Waste collection bins
Solar geysers and related accessories
Eco-friendly construction and training materials
4. Submission Guidelines
Interested suppliers are required to submit the following documents:
Application letter clearly stating the category or categories applied for.
Company profile, including full contact details.
Copies of PACRA, ZRA, ZPPA registration, and 2025 Tax Clearance Certificate.
List of at least three (3) references/clients with evidence of similar work done.
CVs of key technical staff (where applicable).
Quotations or pricing for listed items in stationery, PPE, foodstuffs, and branding categories.
Samples or catalogues (for photography, videography, and branding services).
Evidence of a physical and traceable business location.
Bank details reflecting the name of the company.
5. Submission Deadline
 All applications must be submitted electronically to: s2lzambia@youngafrica.org
 Deadline: Friday, 31st October 2025 at 17:00 hours CAT
Important:
All bid documents must be submitted as one consolidated PDF file.
Late submissions will not be considered.
6. Important Notes
Registration does not guarantee contract award, but pre-qualified suppliers will be eligible for consideration for procurement opportunities during the 12-month period.
Skills to Live Zambia reserves the right to accept or reject any application, wholly or in part, without obligation to provide reasons.
Suppliers are expected to uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate compliance with S2L Zambia’s safeguarding policy and disability inclusion practices.
