Job description
The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) is a leading Zambian non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the health of Zambians through research, innovation, and capacity development.
CIDRZ is building up its database and pool of potential board and committee members and is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals with expertise in areas that include the following fields;
1. Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine , Research and Programs,
2. Finance, Audit and Assurance,
3. Risk and Compliance Management,
4. Business development and investment,
5. Law and Governance,
6. Human Resources, facilities management, IT Operations etc.,
7. Resource mobilization and community engagement.
Applicants should be committed to participating in quarterly board meetings and committee work, able to serve an initial three-year term, willing to contribute time, skills, networks, or financial support, and be demonstrated leaders with integrity and a strategic mindset. A passion for community empowerment and inclusive development is essential.
A minimum of 3 years verifiable board experience with reputable institutions is required.
