Key Responsibilities in Butchery Assistant Jobs in Copperbelt Lusaka

• Assist with cutting, trimming, and packaging various meat products efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety regulations
• Operate cutting machinery and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
• Weigh, label, and package meat products accurately for sale
• Provide customers with friendly service, including basic preparation and cooking advice
• Display meat products attractively in cabinets and display areas to enhance sales
• Uphold excellent customer service standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or an equivalent qualification
• Butchery Production Certificate demonstrating relevant training
• 1 to 2 years of practical experience in butchery production
• Basic knowledge of meat preparation and handling techniques
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physically and medically fit to perform duties in a fast-paced environment
