About the Role – Business Development Jobs in Kitwe

As a Business Development Representative or Sales Representative, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the mining industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies aligned with Brooke Consultancy’s objectives, fostering strong client relationships, and contributing to the company’s success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify new business prospects.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold outreach, and participation in industry events.
  • Prepare compelling business proposals and presentations; negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including lead conversion rates, revenue growth, and market share.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for enhanced market intelligence.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-evolving business environment.
  • Quick learner with a deep understanding of client and industry requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the mining sector, with comprehensive knowledge of mine operations.
  • Experience in the Infrastructure or Government sectors is a plus.
  • Strong client references demonstrating proven success.
