Job description

Pumnat Financial Services Ltd is a fast-growing microfinance institution dedicated to providing inclusive and customer-centered financial solutions across Zambia. We are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Officer—one position in Kitwe and another in Lusaka.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends.
Actively promote and cross-sell our financial products and services.
Prepare business development reports and assist with growth strategies.
Contribute to increasing the brand presence in the assigned region.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in business development, sales, or financial services.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
Previous experience in microfinance will be an added advantage.
